3D printed tag

3D printed dog tag

A 3D printed dog tag is an ID tag made of PLA plastic, built layer by layer from a digital model. Ours has your dog’s name raised on the front and your phone number carved into the back, weighs 1.3 g to 13.5 g depending on shape and size, doesn’t jingle, and is printed in Spain, one by one, in 2–4 days, from €9.

  • Made to fit your dog. 6 shapes and 4 sizes, from 3.3 to 5.8 cm wide, in 13 plain colours and flags. You see it in 3D before paying.
  • Details that don’t wear off. The name is raised and the phone number carved into the tag itself: no ink, no surface engraving.
  • Light and silent. A Standard tag weighs 3.6–7.7 g depending on the shape. It’s plastic, so there’s no metal-on-metal clink.
  • Several colours in one piece. Rim, inner panel and letters are printed together with coloured filaments: there’s no paint to chip.

None wins at everything: for a dog that chews everything, steel is toughest. The 3D printed tag wins on silence, weight and colour, and its number is carved in. What matters is a number anyone can read.

Questions about the 3D printed dog tag

What is a 3D printed dog tag?

An ID tag made with a 3D printer, layer by layer, from a digital model. Ours is PLA, with the name raised on the front and the phone number carved on the back, and you design it online seeing it in 3D.

How much does a 3D printed tag weigh?

Between 1.3 g (Mini heart or Scooby) and 13.5 g (Large dog tag shape). The Standard size, the most popular, weighs 3.6–7.7 g depending on the shape. Calculated from its 3D model.

Is it tough? Is it waterproof?

Yes: it copes with water, baths and daily wear, and doesn’t rust. What it doesn’t like is strong heat (from about 55 °C, like inside a car in the summer sun), which can deform it.

Will the phone number wear off?

No. It’s carved about 0.5 mm into the plastic itself. There’s no ink or paint to rub off.

How long does it take and do you ship to my country?

We make it in 2–4 days once paid. We ship to every EU country: €2 by international post (7–12 working days) or €7.50 by tracked registered post (5–10 working days).

How much does it cost?

From €9 (Mini) to €13 (Large), VAT and split rings included. A second identical tag is half price.

Made in 2–4 days · free standard post in mainland Spain and the Balearics · to the rest of the EU from €2 · technical sheet (in Spanish).
